Geometry of Direct Voice Mediumship

It is shown how multidimensional complex Hilbert space can be used as a convenient geometrical model explaining mechanism of direct voice mediumship. A specific model of experiences described in the biographical book of direct voice medium Leslie Flint "Voices in the Dark" is provided. The key idea is that while vectors of individual human attention are aligned along all kinds of personal and professional interests in everyday life creating a lot of noise preventing spirits from accessing the mind of a medium there are situations when this is not the case. For example, once a movie is started at a movie theater, the attention and intention vectors of most of the spectators are focused on the movie screen. At the same time the directions roughly parallel to the plane of the movie screen are available for possible spirits to access a medium if he or she is present in the movie theater. Under these conditions when spectator personal and professional attention and intention vector noise is minimized, minds of potential spirits can interfere with the mind of the direct voice medium resulting in acoustic signals produced around the medium. A few examples of short sound files recorded on direct voice mediums available online are played back.

About the speaker

I am a Ph.D. in Phys. Chem. The topic of my thesis was "Computer Solution of Thermo-chemical Data Networks" Moscow Univ, 1985. It was done at the High Temperatures Inst. of the Russian Acad. Sci, based on efficient use of Sparsity of Chem. Reaction Matrix within the algorithm of Huber Robust Regression applied to processing thermochemical data for a few hundred of chemical chemical reactions. After moving to USA in 1994 I researched and coded reuse & Integration of Healthcare data while working at major hospitals in Boston and developed a few math models of Psi uploaded to Researchgate.net. Key words: Data Mining, Databases, Physical Chemistry, Quantitative Psychology, My work on math models of Psi was presented at the Science of Consciousness conferences in 2006-2008 (Including Quantum Mind symposium in Salzburg, Austria in 2007) and in 2024-2025. My work on consciousness started from modeling Psi mechanisms using the relevant properties of Complex Spacetime. My work then proceeded to acceptance of the thesis that spacetime is not fundamental, the idea formulated by Nobel prise winning physicist David Gross in 2005.

The topic of my talk on the Consciousness conference in Tucson, AZ (2024) prepared in collaboration with mathemtician John Shuster was "Testing Love for Experiment and a Fractal DNA Antenna Mechanism of Observer Effect".

The topic of my talk on the conference on Consciousness in Barcelona, Spain, 2025 was "Toward Understanding the Mechanisms of Extra Sensory Perception: Philosophy of Idealism as a Possible Framework for ESP".

Slides of my presentations done on the conferences on the Science of Consciousness in 2024-2025 were uploaded to my profile on researchgate.net along with PDFs of my posters presented on "Toward a Science of Consciousness" in 2006 and 2008 both devoted to modeling of ESP in 8D complex spacetime representing a modification of Rauscher & Targ model. Slides of my talk "Modeling Consciousness in Complex Spacetime using Methodology of Quantum and Classical Physics" presented at the International Symposium on Quantum Mind in Salzburg, Austria in 2007 are also available at https://www.researchgate.net/profile/Anatoly-Goldstein/research
