Modern neuroscience and biomedicine often approach consciousness as awareness arising from brain activity. Divine Connection International presents a different framework: consciousness is not merely awareness, intention, or subjective experience, but a fundamental intelligent causal variable underlying existence itself. In this model, consciousness functions as an organizing intelligence that informs matter, life, biological differentiation, health, mind, cognition, emotion, order, and disorder. The brain does not produce consciousness; rather, the brain, mind, body, biological systems, and matter all express different levels, qualities, and organizations of consciousness. This presentation explores that hypothesis through findings from a randomized, placebo-controlled, double-blind clinical trial evaluating a remote consciousness-based intervention using standardized National Institutes of Health Toolbox Cognition and Motor Batteries. The study assessed objective cognitive and motor outcomes at baseline, 90 days, and 180 days in 119 adult participants assigned to control, placebo-control, or intervention groups. Outcome measures included language, working memory, episodic memory, executive function, attention, locomotion, balance, dexterity, grip strength, and endurance. The intervention group demonstrated statistically significant improvements across all cognitive and motor domains compared with both control groups. Psycho-mental symptoms and parameters were evaluated, with the intervention group demonstrating significant improvement. Reported outcomes indicated complete or near-complete resolution across all domains, including fatigue, poor sleep, stress, cognitive impairment, and emotional/mental distress, compared with both control groups. These findings are interpreted not merely as therapeutic outcomes, but as empirical signals relevant to a larger theory of consciousness. If a consciousness-based intervention is associated with measurable improvements in cognition, motor function, psychological symptoms, and emotional/mental well-being without conventional physical and mental interaction, then consciousness may need to be studied as more than a neural correlate. It may be an active ordering intelligence expressed through the brain, body, biology, and mind. These clinical findings are not isolated. They are part of a broader interdisciplinary body of research comprising more than 6,500 experiments, over 680 peer-reviewed science publications, and over 13,000 citations, in which the same consciousness-based intervention/approach has been applied across human clinical research, biology, microbiology, biotechnology, agriculture, chemistry, materials science, and related physical sciences. This body of research is indexed through NIH/National Library of Medicine databases and is accessible through more than 3,000 universities worldwide, including Harvard, Cambridge, Oxford, and MIT. Across diverse domains, the work has consistently produced measurable and unprecedented outcomes, including improvements in cognitive-motor performance, psychological well-being, biological growth and function, microbial activity, agricultural productivity, chemical properties, material structure, and physical characteristics of matter. These outcomes are difficult to explain through conventional mechanisms alone, with comparable effects across systems as distinct as human cognition, plants, microbes, chemicals, and materials. This convergence supports the understanding of consciousness not as awareness, intention, or a by-product of neural activity, but as a fundamental intelligent variable capable of informing, organizing, and transforming matter, life, mind, and biological expression. This presentation will discuss the clinical methodology, principal findings, limitations, theoretical implications, and future directions for developing a rigorous empirical science of consciousness as a fundamental reality underlying life, mind, health, and creation.
