This model postulates a quantized space that comes in tiny grains of measured volume. Like a property line between you and your neighbors, the grain’s boundary is an immaterial reality, an abstraction. The boundary forms an elision with those of its neighbors and extends contiguously throughout the universe as a network of abstraction: the Abstract Background. In addition to the measured property of volume, grains have several particle properties of unmeasured value like charge or spin. Without measurement, these properties can ONLY exist as abstractions, or ideas (an immaterial reality is always an abstraction, an idea, an awareness) which surround each grain throughout the universe. Relatively few grains have received measured value and collapsed down to the particles which make up everything we know. Particles constantly undergo changes of measured value and this activity is noticed in the abstract background in the form of an evolutionary, or Vibrational Idea (V-Idea) of the object. The blending of the V-Idea with a grain’s properties will set the abstract, unmeasured particle properties of the grain to the discrete, measured values of the particle’s V-Idea, at which point the grain can no longer maintain its abstract nature and collapses down to that particular particle, or coherent object made of particles; an atom, a protein, an exaltation of larks . . . or your microtubule network (MTN). In each cycle, the V-Idea of the freshly evolved object is updated. When you experience an idea of a meaning, your MTN activity undergoes a configuration which is unique to that idea; a configuration like those of others of your species for the same idea. The update of that configuration within the V-Idea is the Vibrational Representation (V-Rep) of the meaning. Unlike V-Ideas, V-Reps are not personalized; they exist every where and “when” throughout the background of a quantized space, due to their immaterial nature. V-Reps enable your mind to “learn,” or acquire ideas when the V-Idea of your MTN “resonates” with some random V-Rep of similarly measured MTN values. Initially, your nascent MTN is stimulated by some early event which brings about a change of its activity. The activity updates its V-Idea which resonates with a rational V-Rep, or “flat” meaning for the stimulation, for example, “something exists.” Enriched with this V-Rep, the V-Idea blends with the most likely grains to evolve as your MTN. Those grains become measured and collapse to the particles of your MTN whose activity now reflects the newly acquired rational meaning. The MTN activity evolves its way back into your body where it creates interoceptive motions (feelings). These motions, however subtle, are sensed by the brain which further evolves your MTN. This activity updates the V-Idea which resonates, this time, with an irrational V-Rep for the interoceptive motions and the irrational meaning (emotion) lends significance to the earlier, rational idea. A rational idea plus its emotion (irrational idea) always yields a complete thought, an experience . . . and the first of these thoughts was that of your mind as an abstract entity, or “I am!!”
