Quantum Effects in Water

The objective of this research is to investigate whether stimuli associated with conscious attention produce measurable changes in the molecular structure and dynamics of liquid water using theoretical and computational methods. We will explore two complementary approaches: (1) a semi-classical mechanics framework that incorporates quantum effects and (2) three-body molecular dynamics simulations using an experimentally derived potential energy surface. These methods will test for possible variations in ground-state zero-point energy, hydrogen-bonding, and intermolecular interactions. The future results will establish a rigorous molecular framework for evaluating this hypothesis and its potential implications for water and biological systems.
