Heightened perceptions exist on a single spectrum defined by one core experience: a dissolved sense of self. At its foundation, this mental state temporarily strips away personal boundaries and self-focus, replacing them with a profound, intensified feeling of universal connectedness. These experiences, referred to as oneness or union, have been well chronicled in research. Dr. Yaden, et al. (2017) in Varieties of Self-Transcendent Experience, presented heightened perception experiences across a spectrum of intensity ranging from routine to intense to transformative. These experiences are temporary and last from seconds to days. Ongoing research with super experiencers – those who have undergone events in six or more categories of perception and sometimes multiple categories simultaneously – conducted by the Center for Anomalous and Noetic Sciences at the California Institute for Human Science, also deepens our understanding of a heightened perception spectrum because super experiencers can be impacted by multiple categories of anomalous phenomena simultaneously. Do super experiencers provide any insight into Enlightenment? Case study data from a female Enlightened individual and super experiencer (born and raised in California) will be presented, and how that individual suddenly and unintentionally opened to a continuous perception of Oneness in 1997. Enlightenment here is defined as the same type of heightened perception experience (mental state where the sense of personal boundary is dissolved) but when it is sustained over time. The case study chronicles the individual’s broad range of experiences: near-death experience (at age 5), ghosts, after-death communication, clairvoyance (human bioenergy field), out-of-body experiences, energy healing, empathy, psychedelic and pharmaceutical-induced journeys, rapture in nature, lucid dreaming, visitations by archangels, entities living within humans (energy healing), UFO/UAP sightings, telepathy, premonitions, precognition, past-lives, and intuition. The case study also hypothesizes why the super experiencer had so many types of experiences. An explanation is offered as to when heightened perception experiences shift into a perpetual, continuous experience of Enlightenment rather than a temporary event. The sustained perception of non-dual oneness is achieved through being open, aware, and embracing a multidimensional nature from knowledge gained via heightened perception events, and through the transformation of false beliefs and the destruction of neural pathways maintaining those false beliefs. Driven to find truth no matter the cost, the experiencer faces resistance and false beliefs head-on, such as childhood trauma, to transform them. By bringing awareness and emotional immersion to the root-cause of the trauma, the attachments and false beliefs dissolve and are replaced by a neutral mental state. Four transformational activities defined her process: (a) acts of forgiveness and compassion in the mental and emotional bodies create greater balance, (b) letting go of false conceptions of identity, (c) the integration of deeper multidimensional perspectives, and (d) mindfulness and vipassana meditation. Through these activities, the case study individual came to realize she is of the same whole – Enlightenment – discovering freedom and sovereignty.

He is a Director at Oracle leading a product management team developing agents engineering tooling, processes, and workflows for applied AI solutions. Prior to Oracle, he worked at Accenture Consulting, founded a Software Healthcare business, developed LTE semiconductors at Freescale, and prototyped GPS communication payloads at the Aerospace Corporation.  Many heightened perception moments – clairvoyance, intuition, and biofield energy transference –  combined with an intimate unidentified anomalous phenomena encountered in his early twenties, compelled him to explore the boundaries of reality and the limits of our human potential.

Today, he writes and lectures on the standardization of our human spiritual journey utilizing multidimensional frameworks to bridge extra perception experiences with psychology, physics, and neuroscience. Michael completed the School of Energy Mastery with Dr. Robert Jaffe, M.D., has a B.S. in Physics and MSEE in Electrical Engineering from University of New Mexico, and an all-but-dissertation (PhD) in Digital Signal Processing from UCLA.
