The new model for worker health and safety includes cognitive, emotional, and interpersonal aspects of work (psycho-social factors). At the same time, AI technology is altering workplace cognition, requiring more advanced human capacities such as judgement, collaboration, and empathy. This presentation examines the role of authenticity and nondual consciousness in the modern workplace, and how applying consciousness science to the new model of worker health and safety can help address psycho-social factors, improve performance and employee well-being, and contribute to building social capital. Authenticity is explored as an integral aspect of well-being beyond ‘The Authenticity Scale’, through non-identification with thoughts and emotions, moral integrity and autonomy, and viewing human life not as something fixed but as a continuous process of development, learning, and growth. The global crisis of 'insularity', or the crisis of polarized thinking and lack of trust, and the role of the workplace in brokering trust and restoring connection will be examined in the context of Ego developmental stages, the relational nature of the mind, and factors of psychological health and safety in the workplace. The presentation will also explore the concept of 'moral injury', and ways to identify and eliminate conditions that threaten moral autonomy, while promoting creative expression and introducing necessary strategies to create a sustainable culture of psychological health and safety in the workplace.

Milena Braticevic holds a PhD in Integral Health from the California Institute for Human Science (www.cihs.edu). She teaches her program 'Mental Resilience and Psychological Safety' at the University of Toronto SCS. Milena has worked with many organizations, including Price Waterhouse Coopers, Sagicor, American Industrial Hygiene Association, Nuclear Waste Management Organization (Canada), Social Empowerment Agency (Barbados), Adidas South-East Europe, and Halkbank AD (Serbia). Her presentations include the talk on the 'Integral Approach to Health and Safety' at the National Safety Council 'Safety 2.0' conference (USA), as well as 'Consciousness Science: An Integral Approach to Mental Health and Psychological Safety' at the 14th Congress of Psychotherapists (Serbia).
