For 50 years I have been motivated by a simple question. How do we take things out of our heads and make them real? In pursuit of this, I have stumbled upon a remarkable perspective. That consciousness is a fundamental field that we have been detecting and using since the dawn of life. Consciousness and life are interchangeable words that describe this primal force. That primal force is composed of forces that we have described separately as emotion and mentation. Emotion and mentation are actually two sides of the same coin. In nature one does not exist without the other. Biology has developed a brain over millions of years that is both a receiver and an emitter sensing this field. And as such both emotion and mentation are input that we have learned how to manipulate effortlessly much like how we manipulate light, sound and the fruits of our other senses. It is our lived experience that these inputs coexist at the same time. We don’t experience without emotion. Consciousness and life are one and the same, both creating reality. In the quantum realm, unlimited potential collapses into information when consciously measured. Emotions and thoughts are inseparable; no experience occurs without emotion. Thus, the hard problem of consciousness is resolved: feeling is fundamental. Through biology, we connect to the quantum field, where life, as consciousness, creates by collapsing potential. We live in a constant feedback loop, where creation is the fundamental drive, and what life creates is information which already exists in the quantum realm.
